Ladies Section
Our Ladies Section meets every Tuesday morning with reserved tee times from 9:30 am – 10:30 am. We host qualifying competitions (weather and course conditions permitting), offering cash prizes for top performances. After the round, members often gather in the Round Bar for a coffee (or wine!) and a chat.
There is a £3 weekly entry fee, with an optional “2s” competition and cash prizes.
During the summer the section offers
Friendly matches against other local clubs, both home and away.
League matches for those looking for competitive team golf.
Two away days, with costs subsidised for members.
A summer knockout competition.
Our annual Sunday Driver, visiting different regional clubs.
Ladies Open Am-Am, Invitation day and a festive Christmas Texas Scramble.
During the winter the section offers
Even when the temperatures drop, we keep things fun with:
Weekly competitions, featuring a mix of different formats.
A subsidised Christmas dinner to celebrate the year together.
The Ladies Section is led by the Lady Captain, Josie Hallam, supported by a committee to help organise events and competitions. Each year, we also come together to support a charity chosen by the Lady Captain.
